Skipping on programming and thinking that you can score Bioinformatics job is an illusion from which sooner or later many will wake up. It is possible if you are very good at making a network in the academic world, but it is not something you should count on, only a few percents actually do it. Bioinformatics is a new field which is on its way to develop and have its major impact. Having programming skills is essential. I would recommend getting familiar at least with Python, SQL and Linux Command line. The easiest way is https://www.tutorialspoint.com and https://www.w3schools.com .
You will find many other online courses, most of them are unfull, paid or both.
